This is the second year of the new
GCE Moving Image arts specifica-
tion. Year 13 students started the
course by delving into the history
of Hollywood cinema.
Pupils began by exploring the
mystery of the silent film before
moving through Hitchcock’s gold-
en year and how this iconic direc-
tor continues to influence some of
our best loved films today!
Once they had become experts in
film theory, it was time to turn
them into directors!
Through good time management,
determination and creativity this
class produced some fantastic
films ranging from docu-drama,
thriller and romance!
Year 14 continued to delve into
the world of cinema as they
honed and developed their film
making skills and analytical skills.
Who knows...we may have our
very own Hitchcock in the making!
