EDUCATING THROUGH
EXTRA-CURRICULAR
Playing sports provides for our pupils the
opportunity to develop team skills,
physical literacy & communication, healthy
competitiveness and pupil wellbeing.
Other enrichments such as clubs and
societies provide our pupils with further
opportunities to develop skill sets which
develop personal character,
enjoyment and inclusiveness.
EXTRA-CURRICULAR
Pupils are encouraged to participate in a variety of activities
outside the classroom situation. These include: Art Club,
Athletics, Badminton, Choir, Creative Club, Dance, Football,
Hockey, Netball, Orchestra, Rugby, Scripture Union, Tennis,
Trampolining and Young Enterprise. Outdoor pursuits include
Canoeing and Hill Walking (DoE), and pupils may choose from
Ski, French or History trips. Extra-curricular provision is
available in an extensive lunchtime and after school
programme and by means of enrichments offered as part of the
school day at key times of the year.
