Not far across the border,
In County Donegal,
Among the trees and by the sea
Is a place that means
The world to me.
A little slice of paradise
With a golden sandy shore,
And right next door
A forest park,
Allowing you for miles to wander and explore.
It’s a peaceful destination.
On the shores of Sheephaven Bay
With stunning views of rolling hills
It will take your breath away.
If its peace you seek at this historic site,
You will certainly find seclusion.
Lucky Shell Beach is just the spot
For a picnic and relaxation.
Where is this place, I hear you question?
Where history and nature come together,
To heal the heart and soul.
It’s where my heart belongs.
