The Computing Department continued its’ success with pupils achieving excellent grades in
GCSE Digital Technology and Occupational Studies Web and Graphic Design. Year 14 pupils
were just as successful receiving excellent grades in BTEC Level 3 Information Technology. The
new Digital Technology A-Level has been successful with good grades achieved at AS level, and a
positive outlook for A2.
Key Stage 3 continued to learn basic computer skills, with Year 8 learning about Internet Safety,
School Computing Processes, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. Year 9 have had continued
success completing the iDEA award and Year 10 participated in unplugged lessons using the
Turing Tumbles.
